Buriánová, Veronika ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Presslerová, Pavla (referee)
Post-divorce adaptation is still very current topic, especially in connection with potential impacts of divorce on children's psychological development. This thesis analyses, in the case study form, post-divorce adaptation course at particularly families and consultancy interventions provided by Child Protect and Safeguarding Department with a psychologist in the team. The theoretical part describes post-divorce adaptation process in both children and parents and analyses their relation. It contains also considerations about the discourse of Czech children after divorce care, which is reflected, beside others, in discussions about alternate care and parental alienation syndrome. The practical part processes the cases in which I participated in the framework of my consultancy work at Child Protect and Safeguarding Department. The analysis of case material is executed in three phases, aimed at sequential generalization of post-divorce adaptation and consultancy intervention knowledge. The analysis structure copies the theoretical part structure; i.e. reflects children's and parents' points of view and general family-relationship's dynamics. The thesis showed that the support of children in a post-divorce adaptation process is not possible to separate from the support of parents. The primary factor of...
Psychological facet of pastoral care
LOJÍKOVÁ, Pavlína
The thesis describes pastoral care from the perspective of psychology; more precisely, it examines the psychological facet of the pastoral care. The theoretical part describes the pastoral care as a help to a human in the context of faith. Next, psychological intervention is described in the form of psychotherapy, psychological counseling, crisis intervention and psychodiagnostics. Some views of the relationship and connection between the pastoral work and the psychology follow and after that, some psychological means used or usable in the pastoral care are proposed. The key research question is how the pastor reflects his pastoral work. Using depth interviews, data from five professional pastors of different Christian denominations were acquired. Using grounded theory method, a three-phase model, which captures the possible course of the pastoral care, was created. The existence and working of God is taken into account. In the pastoral care, more practical topics than spiritual ones are dealt with, and besides spiritual factors, human factors also help the people in the pastoral care. It was found that psychological elements occur in the pastoral care, but its goals are different from the psychological intervention.
